The Jordanian Hajj and Umrah Department introduced an innovative electronic platform called "Hajj Summoning" (Isti'dan Al-Hajj), designed to streamline the initial registration process for those wishing to perform the pilgrimage. This platform introduces a priority system that gives special preference to elderly citizens and those accompanying elderly individuals, recognizing their physical needs and ensuring they have easier access to the mandatory pilgrimage. Department statistics indicate that 94% of their efforts are dedicated to improving the quality of services for pilgrims, while 93% focus on educating pilgrims about rituals and health protocols before their departure. The platform also actively monitors and improves accommodation standards and transportation services in Makkah and the holy sites, with reported success rates of 91% and 95%, respectively. Additionally, the department organizes training workshops and educational lectures covering ritual, health, and administrative aspects to ensure pilgrims are well-prepared. This comprehensive approach underscores Jordan's commitment to providing a safe, dignified, and enriching Hajj experience for its citizens, leveraging technology to address the specific needs of vulnerable groups.
