The comprehensive cleaning and sanitation plan during the Hajj season resulted in the removal of over 250,000 tons of waste from Makkah alone, with an additional 16,000 tons collected from the holy sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. This massive logistical effort was executed by thousands of field workers operating around the clock with modern machinery, ensuring a hygienic and healthy environment for the millions of pilgrims. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Commerce pumped more than 459 million essential items into the markets of Makkah and the holy sites to secure the pilgrims' needs for food, medicine, and daily necessities. Inspection teams intensified their field visits to monitor prices and prevent monopolistic practices, ensuring fair trade for all. Furthermore, an advanced water distribution network delivered over 6.4 million cubic meters of safe drinking water to Makkah and the holy sites. These staggering figures highlight the colossal logistical challenges faced by the Kingdom and its extraordinary capacity to manage them efficiently, providing a comfortable and safe stay for the guests of Allah. The success of these operations sets a new benchmark for mega-event management worldwide.
